Quotes & Statements:
“I wish I could say that racism and prejudice were only distant memories. We must dissent from the indifference. We must dissent from the apathy. We must dissent from the fear, the hatred and the mistrust…We must dissent because America can do better, because America has no choice but to do better.”
– Thurgood Marshall
“Anywhere on this Earth its no longer enough…and lest we forget has never been enough.”
We must join together and immediately take action to actively eradicate structures of white supremacy and simultaneously take action against anti-environmentally responsible policies and behaviors in our culture before we destroy ourselves and all other life forms of our planet!
“In a racist society, it is not enough to be non-racist. We must be anti-racist.”
– Angela Davis
In my classes, I vow to always teach from an actively anti-elitest, anti-racist, anti-exclusionary perspective. My students will be exposed and indoctrinated to a globally multi-cultural, racially and fully gender inclusive perspective in all course work with particular emphasis upon an inclusive revision to history of the arts and photography. Inclusion will be the overarching theme within the development of each students individual artistic discipline and creative practice.
Art and Artists have always been political and activistic.
We define/redefine the culture and the culture must be change(d).
“An artist and an activist are not so far apart.”
— Ava DuVernay,

The fitness-center is the best that I’ve ever seen. After a great workout I can head to the steam showers to give my muscles the relaxation that they need.
